In Remembrance of Jake
Those of you who have known me for the last 10 years will know my dog Jake as well. Jake was a rescue pet and came into my life at the age of 18 months. He  was a shepherd/husky cross and quickly became “My Boy”. As I’ve never had children, he became my baby, my child, my buddy, my confidant, and my best friend. No matter what, there was unconditional devotion and love from him. He loved to travel with “Dad” and the team, and there weren’t too many places between Ontario and Florida where he didn’t leave his mark.
Jake had been the team mascot since Day One. He was a fixture at the shop where he guarded the building and the team while we maintained the race cars, but believe us when we say his bark was worse than his bite.
A loyal companion and friend to one and all.
Jake suddenly became ill on Sunday April 15th and was peacefully sent to heaven on Monday April 16th.
He will be terribly missed but never forgotten.
